Welcome to Nursing at Winona State University! We have much to offer for those pursuing this noble and ethical profession. Whether you are choosing a program to become a registered nurse or continuing your education to a higher degree, our programs will challenge you to improve yourself and ultimately the profession. We have main campuses in Winona and Rochester Minnesota with smaller outreach sites for RN-BS Completion in La Crescent and Red Wing. We are looking to serve the communities we live in through our quality nursing curricula and varied educational access.

We graduate nurses with baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees. Our graduates are highly sought by employers as they are committed to improving our world with the best evidence available and working with people and communities to advance their health and wellbeing. Our undergraduate and graduate programs have high success rates on national testing exams and are all accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education and the Higher Learning Commission.

The theme of this academic year at WSU is Resilience. The ability to bounce back and take care of each other after adversity or trauma begins within each of us. This year we will all learn how to better care for our self and others by understanding our personal strengths and how to maximize them. We will have an amazing year doing this together!
