Patients and visitors may use the main entrance from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. After 8 p.m., please enter through the Emergency Department on Front Street.

Directions

From Interstate 5: Exit on Washington Street and head east. Turn left on First Avenue. Turn left onto West Arbor Drive. The medical center will be on your right.

From CA-163 northbound: Exit at Robinson Avenue and make an immediate left onto Tenth Avenue. Make a left onto University Avenue. Turn right onto First Avenue. Turn left onto West Arbor Drive. The medical center will be on your right.

From CA-163 southbound: Take the Washington Street West exit toward Downtown. Merge onto Washington Street. Turn right onto First Avenue. Turn left onto West Arbor Drive. The medical center will be on your right.

Construction alert: There may be traffic delays because of long-term construction activity along First Avenue, Arbor Drive and Front Street. Bachman Place will be closed to all traffic from April 2022 to mid-2024 (view alternate routes). This work is part of a larger project to redevelop UC San Diego Health's Hillcrest campus.
