Northern Nurse Practitioner Association

The purpose of the Northern Nurse Practitioner Association (NNPA) is to provide a means of support and networking to nurse practitioners and other advance practice nurses (APNs) in the region. 

Goals & Objectives:

To provide leadership in enhancing the role of the APN in the nation as well as at state and local levels.

To provide quality continuing education to APNs in our association and to other health care professionals in our area. To promote communication and cooperation with fellow APNs and other APN groups.

Currently NNPA is a web based association. Annually one meeting in the fall will be attempted in Duluth to be able to colaborate with other nurse practitioner colleagues and recieve the most updated information for your practice in Minnesota.

Members will be utilized as resource/contact persons in networking with other APN interest groups as well as in recommending educational offerings.
